My question is what exactly the status of the relationship between the Oriental and the Eastern Orthodox Churches is. Are we close to full communion or is it a while off?

The relationship between the Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Churches continues to advance in progress though we are not in full communion. Our progress is not determined by time but by complete understanding and appreciation of our theological and doctrinal similarities and differences. Thus, there is no agenda for a set timetable for full communion, but positive dialogue continues to build and strengthen our relationship.
