Is it ok to have a cross in a bathroom? 

Yes, a cross can be placed anywhere. Most kitchens have garbage cans and people place crosses in kitchens. People clean every room in their homes and wear crosses while they do so. Your entire body is consecrated, and you enter the restroom, bathe, etc. You are much more important than the walls in your home. Where you go and where your mind and heart wander, there the Holy Spirit also goes with you. "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" (1 Corinthians 6:19).
